Russian TV host Solovyov criticises FM’s Kyiv visit
Russian state television presenter Vladimir Solovyov has launched fresh verbal attacks against Azerbaijan, criticizing Baku for pursuing an independent foreign policy without regard to Moscow's stance.
Speaking on his broadcast, Solovyov voiced frustration over Azerbaijan's strategic positioning, linking Baku's diplomatic confidence to projections regarding Russia's trajectory in the Ukraine war. He pointed specifically to Azerbaijan placing three Russian citizens on a wanted list and the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister's official visit to Ukraine. Criticizing Moscow's restrained response, the pundit claimed that Baku and other regional states act assertively due to their conviction that Russia is geopolitically weakening and unable to retaliate.
