AzerGold launches dust control project on rural roads using eco-friendly solution
14.08.2025 15:01

Azerbaijan’s state-owned mining company AzerGold has launched an environmental initiative to control dust pollution on 15 kilometers of rural roads in the Goygol and Dashkasan districts.

The company applied “Dustex,” a 100% natural, plant-based, biodegradable reagent that is widely used internationally in mining and construction to suppress dust, especially in dry and windy conditions.

The initiative aims to improve public health and environmental protection in local communities while reducing water usage. AzerGold said the project is part of its broader sustainability and corporate social responsibility strategy.
