OPEC+ exceeds output cut target with 102% compliance — Novak

 OPEC+ members exceeded their pledge to cut oil production by 2% in January–August 2025, achieving 102% compliance with the deal, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

“This agreement has proven effective over the years. In the first eight months, overall compliance reached 102%,” Novak told Rossiya-24 TV.

He added that in recent months some decisions to raise output were made
