Azerbaijan’s trade with Georgia up 28%

Azerbaijan’s trade with Georgia up 28%

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia reached $464.8 million in January–July 2025, up $102.7 million or 28.4% from the same period in 2024, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee said.

The increase highlights strengthening economic ties between the two neighbors. Azerbaijan mainly exports oil, petroleum products, electricity and metals to Georgia, while importing wine, mineral water and agricultural goods.

Economists say the growth is also linked to expanding transport and transit projects, including the Trans-Caspian and Middle Corridor routes.
