Armenia and the European Union are finalizing a new partnership agenda that includes reopening regional transport links and steps toward visa liberalization, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Monday.

Speaking about transport connectivity between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Pashinyan noted the EU’s interest in taking part in infrastructure unblocking and operation efforts.

He added that negotiations with the EU on the new cooperation document are more than 99% complete, with a signing expected soon. A joint Action Plan will follow, paving the way for further progress toward easing visa requirements for Armenian citizens.
