Trump administration plans to deport asylum seekers
28.11.2025 14:30

U.S. President Donald Trump has said his administration intends to deport individuals who enter the country seeking asylum. He made the comments while addressing military personnel.

Trump was asked to comment on reports that an Afghan national who opened fire on National Guard troops had previously applied for and received asylum approval. The president said deporting such individuals is difficult, but noted that the administration will now seek to remove all new arrivals who request asylum.

He did not specify which nationalities he was referring to.
