Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan security council secretaries meet in Baku

Ramil Usubov, Secretary of Azerbaijan’s Security Council, has met with Viktor Mahmudov, Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, who arrived in Baku for a visit. The information was released by Azerbaijan’s Security Council.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of cooperation and joint efforts amid rising conflicts, military-political challenges and global threats. They noted the strengthening of strategic partnership and effective cooperation between the two brotherly countries, reflecting the political will of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The parties also highlighted the need to further enhance collaboration in the military and military-technical fields, including through mutual exchange of experience.
