Azerbaijani Oil Prices Surged on Global Markets
12.01.2026 10:30

The price of Azeri Light crude oil rose by $2.87 (4.37%), settling at $68.51 per barrel on international markets.

The sharp increase is linked to rising Brent prices amid geopolitical unrest in Iran and changes in global supply dynamics.

Current prices are trending above the $65 per barrel average used for Azerbaijan’s 2026 state budget calculations.

In the Turkish port of Ceyhan, the FOB price for Azeri Light reached $66.65 per barrel.
