bp to hold public consultation on draft ESIA for ADUA project

Energy major bp, acting as the operator under the production sharing agreement for the exploration, development and production of the Ashrafi–Dan Ulduzu–Aypara (ADUA) area in Azerbaijan’s sector of the Caspian Sea, has announced an online public meeting to discuss the draft Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) document for the project’s seismic survey programme.

The online consultation will take place on January 16, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm via Microsoft Teams, with all interested stakeholders invited to participate.

The draft ESIA document and feedback forms have been available on bp’s official website since December 26, 2025.

During the meeting, presentations will be delivered on the programme and the document, participants’ questions will be answered, and views and comments will be discussed. Written feedback can also be submitted by email to [email protected]
.
