Subway has signed a master franchise agreement with N Sky Build, marking the brand’s entry into Azerbaijan and supporting its expansion across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Under the agreement, N Sky Build will receive exclusive rights to develop and operate all Subway restaurants in Azerbaijan. The company has more than 20 years of experience operating international brands across hospitality, retail and food and beverage sectors.

“Azerbaijan presents an exciting growth opportunity for Subway,” said Tracy Gehlan, president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Subway, adding that the partnership would allow the brand to expand strategically in the country.

Nuri Garagoz, chairman of N Sky Build, said the agreement reflected confidence in Subway’s potential in Azerbaijan.

As part of the deal, N Sky Build will roll out Subway’s latest restaurant design and develop the brand’s digital offering in Azerbaijan, focusing on operational efficiency and customer experience.

Subway said the agreement builds on more than 10 master franchise deals signed across EMEA since 2021, representing commitments for more than 4,000 future restaurants in the region.
