The price of Azerbaijan's "Azeri Light" (CIF) crude oil decreased on global markets during the latest trading session. According to market sources, the price per barrel of Azerbaijani oil fell by $1.44, or 2.08%, settling at $67.95.

In the previous trading session, "Azeri Light" was priced at $69.39 per barrel. Despite the recent decline, the current price remains above the $65 per barrel average benchmarked in Azerbaijan's 2026 state budget. Analysts point to shifting global supply dynamics and broader market pressures as key drivers for the price correction.
