Share of “AAA”-rated instruments in SOFAZ investment portfolio drops sharply

As of January 1, the share of “AAA”-rated instruments in the Azerbaijan State Oil Fund’s (SOFAZ) investment portfolio of bonds and other money market instruments stood at 21.3%, down 27.9 percentage points compared with the same date last year.

Meanwhile, the share of “AA”-rated instruments rose from 22.5% to 38.2%, “A”-rated instruments from 17% to 26.7%, “BBB”-rated instruments from 10.9% to 12.9%, and non-investment-grade instruments from 0.4% to 0.9%.
