SOFAZ reduces bond share as real estate increases in portfolio

 As of January 1, 2026, bonds and other money market instruments accounted for 29.8% of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan’s (SOFAZ) investment portfolio, down 17.1 percentage points from a year earlier.

The share of one-year bonds fell to 12.7%, down 4.3 percentage points, while 1-3 year bonds rose to 32.2%, 3-5 year bonds to 29.1%, and bonds over five years declined to 26.1%.

Equities fell to 25.6%, while gold increased from 20.6% to 38.2% and real estate from 5.9% to 6.4%.
