Azerbaijan falls 92,000 bpd short of OPEC+ quota in January

 Azerbaijan’s average daily oil production stood at 459,000 barrels per day (bpd) in January 2026, according to the latest monthly report by OPEC.

Output remained unchanged compared with December.

Under the OPEC+ agreement, Azerbaijan’s production quota for 2026 is set at 551,000 bpd. January production was therefore 92,000 bpd below the quota level.

In 2025, Azerbaijan’s average daily oil output amounted to 461,000 bpd.
