A total of 16.125 million barrels of oil were transported via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline across Turkey in January 2026.

According to data from Turkey’s state pipeline operator BOTAŞ, the figure was down by 1.446 million barrels, or 8.2%, compared to January 2025.

In 2025 as a whole, 206.434 million barrels of oil were pumped through Turkey via the BTC pipeline.

The pipeline mainly carries crude produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block in Azerbaijan, as well as condensate from the Shah Deniz field. Additional crude and condensate volumes from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are also transported via BTC.
