Azeri Light crude slips to $71.46 per barrel

The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude fell $0.51, or 0.71%, to $71.46 per barrel on global markets.

April futures for Brent crude settled at $70.79 per barrel.

At the FOB price at Ceyhan port, Azeri Light dropped $0.43, or 0.62%, to $68.93 per barrel.

Azerbaijan’s 2026 state budget assumes an average oil price of $65 per barrel. Historically, Azeri Light hit a low of $15.81 on April 21, 2020, and a record high of $149.66 in July 2008. The crude is produced from the ashli oil field complex","offshore caspian sea"], where SOCAR holds a 31.65% stake.
