SOCAR’s export revenues plunge in early 2026

In January–February 2026, the Marketing and Economic Operations Department and the Gas Export Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) saw a sharp decline in export revenues, according to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

During the reporting period, the Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported non-oil products worth $27.4 million, 2.6 times lower than the same period last year.

SOCAR’s Gas Export Department exported products worth $2.6 million, six times less than the previous year’s figure.
