Kremlin calls Hungary ‘unfriendly’, declines to congratulate Magyar

The Kremlin said it would not congratulate Hungarian opposition leader Peter Magyar on his election victory, describing Hungary as an “unfriendly” country.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia does not send congratulations to countries it considers unfriendly, citing Budapest’s support for sanctions against Moscow.
