Rain and thunderstorms forecast in Baku and the regions of Azerbaijan

Rain is expected in parts of Baku and the Absheron peninsula on April 15, with occasional intensification, the national hydrometeorological service said.

Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast, shifting to southeasterly during the day.

Temperatures in Baku are expected to range from 8–10°C at night to 13–16°C during the day.

In other regions, precipitation is expected, including snow in mountainous areas, at times heavy, with possible thunderstorms and fog. Conditions are expected to gradually improve from the western regions in the morning.
