Azerbaijan is currently implementing 11 projects with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) worth about $640 million, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said.

He said the IsDB had provided around $1.8 billion in financing to Azerbaijan since the country joined the bank in 1992, supporting projects in infrastructure, agriculture, energy, water resources, transport and financial services.

Jabbarov said agreements signed during the IsDB annual meetings in Baku were mainly focused on private sector development, infrastructure, energy, banking and water management.
