Azerbaijan police detain 35 crime suspects in one day

Police officers solved 38 crimes registered in Azerbaijan on July 27, as well as five previously unsolved cases, the Interior Ministry said.

A total of 103 wanted people were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities, including 74 people wanted as debtors.

Police also recorded 10 drug-related cases and six cases involving the seizure or discovery of illegally held weapons and ammunition.

Thirty-five people were detained on suspicion of committing crimes.
