Number of registered commercial entities in Azerbaijan tops 211,000

As of August 1, 2026, the total number of registered commercial entities in Azerbaijan reached 211,595, reflecting a 6.7% year-on-year increase.

According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, 1,257 new commercial entities were incorporated in July alone. Domestic investments accounted for 86.1% of these newly registered businesses, while foreign-invested enterprises comprised 13.9%.

Digitalization remains high, with 82.7% of all commercial entities registered online in July. Furthermore, electronic registration accounted for 97.1% of all domestically-invested limited liability companies (LLCs) incorporated between January and July 2026.
