Azerbaijan Police Solve 68 Crimes in 24 Hours, Detain 50 Suspects

Azerbaijani law enforcement authorities solved 48 newly recorded offenses and cleared 20 cold cases on September 2, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

A total of 50 suspects were taken into custody across various operations, according to official ministry data.

Police units also detained 103 individuals wanted by authorities, including 91 persons flagged as debtors, and transferred them to relevant state bodies.

In targeted field operations, law enforcement officers uncovered 14 narcotics-related offenses and seized illegally held weapons and munitions across 13 separate incidents.
