KazTransOil Launches First Oil Transit to Kyrgyzstan
KazTransOil carried out its first transit shipment of crude oil through Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan in August.
The initial batch of 35,000 metric tons was dispatched on August 15. The crude is transported via the trunk oil pipeline system to the Shagyr delivery point, where it is transferred into railway tank cars.
The national pipeline operator noted that opening this transit corridor establishes a new supply route for delivering crude oil into Kyrgyzstan.
