Azerbaijan to Review Fresh PISA Findings Following September 8 Release
Azerbaijan will conduct an in-depth evaluation of student proficiencies across reading, mathematics, and science once the latest PISA assessment findings are released on September 8, Education Institute Acting Director Elnur Aliyev said.
Aliyev noted that the analysis will primarily track whether student performance has improved across distinct baseline competencies. A detailed media briefing will follow the official publication to break down specific sub-skills, identifying persistent learning gaps alongside areas of measurable academic progress.
Organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the PISA framework benchmarks the practical knowledge and real-world application skills of 15-year-old pupils worldwide.
