Baku to Host 26th National Beekeeping Fair as Registration Opens Sept 7

Baku will host the 26th National Exhibition and Fair of Beekeeping Products, co-organized by the Ministry of Agriculture's Agro Procurement and Supply OJSC and the Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association.

Online participant registration opens September 7 at 11:00 and runs through September 9 at 23:59 via bal.kendden.az. Eligibility is restricted to beekeepers registered in the Electronic Agriculture Information System (EKTIS) with a minimum declaration of 40 bee colonies as of September 1, 2026, with approved participants notified via SMS.

Each permitted farmer may offer up to 450 kg of honey and 30 honeycomb frames. The Food Safety Agency will draw sucrose samples for mandatory laboratory testing, barring substandard lots from market stalls. Application and testing procedures are subject to service fees, while selected vendors will receive designated sales space, logistical equipment, and promotional support.
