Gazprom Armenia announces 10-day halt in Russian gas supplies
Gazprom Armenia has announced a temporary suspension of natural gas supplies from Russia from September 15 to 25 due to planned maintenance work on the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia gas pipeline.
The company said the maintenance will result in a 10-day interruption of gas supplies from Russia.
Gazprom Armenia stressed that consumers will continue to receive uninterrupted gas supplies during the maintenance period without restrictions.
The company said domestic reserves, along with additional volumes of natural gas supplied from Iran, will be used to ensure stable gas supplies to consumers.
The planned maintenance is therefore not expected to affect the continuity of gas distribution to customers in Armenia.
