Young Azerbaijani chess talent Hikmat Ismayilov has secured the title of French champion, finishing first in the national rapid chess championship organized for players under 10 years of age.

Outperforming his peers across the competition, Ismayilov clinched the top spot on the podium to claim the national youth crown.
