National Hydrometeorological Service issues weather forecast for October 1

On October 1, Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will see variable cloudiness, intermittently overcast skies, and predominantly dry conditions, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service. Short-term light showers may occur during the evening in isolated suburban sectors.

A northwesterly wind will shift to southeasterly in the afternoon. Air temperatures will register between 16–19°C at night and 23–26°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will hold at 763 mm Hg, with relative humidity standing at 60–65% overnight and 50–55% during daytime hours.

In Azerbaijan's regions, intermittent rainfall will begin in northern and western areas in the morning, with localized heavy downpours, lightning, and hail anticipated in specific zones. Fog is forecast in select regions overnight and in the early morning, accompanied by a moderate easterly breeze. Regional temperatures will range from 15–18°C at night to 24–28°C during the day, while mountainous terrain will record 7–12°C overnight and 16–21°C during the day.
