Top altcoins followed the upward momentum, with Ethereum gaining 1.04% to $2,716.39, BNB rising 0.93% to $775.42, and Bitcoin Cash ticking up 0.26% to $308.63. Gold-pegged PAX Gold (PAXG) edged up 0.12% to $4,180.52. Conversely, privacy-focused tokens faced selling pressure as Zcash slumped 6.19% to $1,332.68 and Monero dipped 0.13% to $546.34. The benchmark CoinMarketCap 20 Index advanced 1.80% to 177.12 points. Market analysts attribute the broad-based rally to renewed risk appetite and sustained inflows into Bitcoin, while profit-taking capped upside momentum across selective altcoin sectors.
