Iran offers oil swap deal to Azerbaijan
04.08.2015 15:00
Iran is ready for oil swaps with Azerbaijan, Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said, according to Trend news agency.

He made the remarks on August 4 in Tehran, speaking at a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev.

Zanganeh said that Azeri oil can be transported from Iran’s Caspian port of Neka via a pipeline (with a capacity of 500,000 barrels per day) to the Tehran Oil Refinery.

"Instead, Azerbaijan would get oil on southern borders of Iran,” he said.
