Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk has said the talks with the participation of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which took place in Moscow, lasted nine hours, reported from Sputnik - Armenia.

"In principle, the text [is] at a high degree of readiness, there are two or three discrepancies that still need to be further discussed, including on the points where the railway will pass. We voiced this, and agreed on how customs control will be carried out cargo," Overchuk said.

According to him, it will be an ordinary railway, an ordinary border with passport, border, and customs control.

He noted that all parties are set for "an early launch." To a clarifying question whether the issue of the possible participation of the Russia's FSB in terms of control and security was being worked out, Overchuk said: "It depends on the Republic of Armenia."

A meeting of the trilateral working group on unblocking communications in the region, co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan - Mher Grigoryan, Alexey Overchuk and Shahin Mustafayev, was held on June 2 in the Russian capital.

After the meeting of the working group in Moscow, the Armenian government reported that significant progress had been made in agreeing on modalities for unblocking transport communications between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In particular, a common understanding was reached regarding the implementation of concrete steps to restore and organize the railway communication along the Yeraskh-Julfa-Meghri-Horadiz route.
