Japan, South Korea citizens can enter Azerbaijan visa-free

Citizens of Japan and South Korea can enter Azerbaijan without a visa from July 1.

The visa-free regime will remain in force until July 1, 2027, allowing citizens of the two countries to enter Azerbaijan up to three times within a year and stay for up to 30 days on each visit. 

A visa will be required from the fourth visit onwards, according to Azerbaijan’s official e-visa portal. 

The move is aimed at promoting tourism and strengthening economic, cultural and people-to-people ties between Azerbaijan, Japan and South Korea.
