Rotting ISIS corpses spreading deadly flesh-eating bug among Syrians

This comes as World Health Organization warns war-torn Syria’s health system has collapsed under brutal five years of war that has killed as many as 300,000 people.

As a result a range of nasty diseases are spreading rapidly through a country plagued by violence.

Dilqash Isa, Head of Kurdish Red Crescent, said: "As a result of abominable acts by ISIS that included the killing of innocent people and dumping their corpses in streets, this is the leading factor behind the rapid spread of Leishmanisis disease."

"We did not have knowledge about this deadly disease before," a Syrian Kurdish fighter told news agencies.

"We have been fighting on the battlefield for almost four years and this disease basically generated from embattled areas of Tal Hamis, Hon and Qosa."

The first case of the Leishmanisis disease, caused by agressively hungry parasites and usually carried by flies, was reported in September 2013.

But by mid-2014, 500 people had been afflicted by the terrible bug, activists say.

The horrifying news emerges as the UK starts bombing ISIS in Syria following a vote in the Houses of Commons.

Although most opinion polls show the action against the terrorist group is supported by the majority of Brits and MPs, opponents are furious.

These mostly include anarchist groups, hard-left elements of the Labour Party and the SNP, who are said to have become left-wing to capture Scottish Labour voters in the bid to make Scotland independent from the rest of Britain.

Some of the anti-war faction are pacifists but others believe attacking ISIS will only inflame the deadly Syrian civil war and lead to more deaths and suffering.
