Trump thanks Iran after statement on Strait of Hormuz

U.S. President Donald Trump thanked Iran after Tehran said the Strait of Hormuz was open to commercial shipping during the Lebanon ceasefire.

“Iran has just announced that the strait is fully open and ready for full vessel passage. Thank you!” Trump wrote.

Earlier, Iran said the Strait of Hormuz would be open to all commercial vessels for the duration of the truce in Lebanon.
