IRGC official attributes Mojtaba Khamenei's absence to security protocols
Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is refraining from public appearances strictly due to security concerns, Mohammad Reza Naqdi, advisor to the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated in an interview with PBS.
"Naturally, this is related to security issues," the IRGC advisor noted. Naqdi added that Khamenei adheres to such precautionary measures because the United States and its allies disregard international law.
