All four Moscow airports suspend operations
All four of Moscow’s main airports temporarily suspended arrivals and departures for safety reasons, Russian aviation authorities said.
Restrictions were imposed at Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports amid another drone attack targeting the Russian capital. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defence systems had shot down dozens of drones approaching the city.
Russia’s aviation watchdog later said airport operations had resumed after the temporary restrictions were lifted.
