Rain forecast for Baku and surrounding areas

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are forecast to see partly cloudy weather on July 8, mostly without rain, though showers are expected in some areas at night and in the morning, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

Rain may briefly intensify in parts of the peninsula, with thunderstorms also possible. A north-westerly wind is expected to strengthen at times.

Temperatures in Baku and Absheron will range from 19C to 22C at night and from 26C to 29C during the day.

Across Azerbaijan’s regions, rain is expected in some places, with short but heavy showers, thunderstorms and hail possible in several areas. Fog is forecast in some mountainous areas at night and in the morning.
