Temperatures in Azerbaijan to reach 41°C on July 28

Temperatures in parts of Azerbaijan are expected to rise to 40–41°C on July 28, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

Mostly dry weather is forecast in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. Temperatures will range from 22–25°C at night to 29–33°C during the day.

Dry weather is also expected across most regions of the country. Fog may form in some mountainous areas, while westerly winds may strengthen in places.

Temperatures in the regions will range from 22–27°C at night to 35–39°C during the day, reaching 40–41°C in some areas. In the mountains, temperatures are forecast at 15–20°C at night and 25–30°C during the day.
