Two deminers injured in mine blast in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara
Two employees of a humanitarian demining organisation were injured in an anti-personnel mine explosion near the village of Chardagli in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara district, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action, or ANAMA, said.
Elzamin Vazir oglu Surkhayli, born in 1994, was injured in his right leg after stepping on a mine while carrying out his duties.
Another employee, Fuzuli Rizvan oglu Mirzayev, born in 1998, sustained minor injuries.
Both men were taken to the central district hospital. Their condition was described as satisfactory.
