Intervals between trains to be reduced in Baku Metro
As a result of technical optimization measures, monitoring and tests, intervals between trains in the Baku Metro are being reduced to a minimum, citing Baku Metro CJSC.
Thus, starting from September 15, trains on the Icherisheher-Ahmadli section will operate at 2-minute intervals during peak hours.
On the Green Line, when necessary, the interval between trains will be reduced from 3 minutes 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
On the Purple Line, in connection with the transition to the autumn-winter schedule, a 5-minute interval will be applied on the Avtovaghzal-8 November section and a 10-minute interval on the Khojasan-Avtovaghzal section.
During the new academic year, passenger flow on all lines will be monitored, and additional adjustments will be made if necessary.
