Azerbaijan police solve 99 crimes in two days

Azerbaijan’s police solved 88 newly registered crimes and 11 crimes from previous periods on Sept. 26-27, the Interior Ministry’s press service said.

During the two days, police detained and handed over to relevant authorities 80 people who were wanted. Of them, 52 were wanted as debtors.

Police also identified 24 drug-related offences and 22 cases involving the discovery and seizure of illegally held weapons and ammunition.

In addition, 83 people suspected of committing crimes were detained.
