New hospital opens in Azerbaijan’s Khojavend district

A new hospital has started operating in Azerbaijan’s Khojavend district, the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance (TƏBİB) said.

The hospital has an outpatient department to provide medical services to residents who have moved to the district. It offers consultations with a therapist, paediatrician, ophthalmologist and gynaecologist, as well as ultrasound examinations and laboratory services.

The facility also has a surgery department, a triage area and separate rooms for providing medical care based on patients’ conditions. An X-ray machine has been installed at the hospital.

TƏBİB Executive Director Anar Bayramov visited the newly opened Central District Hospital and the Gyrmyzybazar Medical Centre operating under its authority during his trip to Khojavend district.
