The company steps into a new stage of digital transformation and AI-driven network operations by signing the TM Forum’s “Autonomous Networks Manifesto”

Azercell Telecom LLC has taken another significant step in its digital transformation journey by officially signing the “Autonomous Networks Manifesto” introduced by TM Forum, a global organization that sets industry standards in telecommunications. With this milestone, the company has become the first mobile operator in Azerbaijan and the CIS region to join the initiative.

This achievement positions Azercell among global operators leading the adoption of innovative technologies. It has been realized within the framework of the “Autonomous Networks” project implemented jointly by Azercell and Aztelekom.

Autonomous Networks represent an advanced operational model based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, enabling minimal human intervention while allowing networks to self-configure, self-optimize, and automatically detect and resolve faults. This approach ensures greater accuracy, agility, and resilience in network management.

As part of the project implementation, Azercell aims to enhance operational efficiency while further elevating customer experience and service quality. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce response times to customer requests and accelerate the time-to-market for new services. In parallel, increased automation will support the optimization of operational expenditures (OPEX) and help mitigate risks associated with human factors.

It should be noted that all current and future Autonomous Networks initiatives across Azercell and Aztelekom are consolidated within a unified program framework and governed through a centralized model, fully aligned with TM Forum standards.

In 2025, Azercell became an official member of TM Forum, a globally recognized alliance of leading companies in the telecommunications and technology sectors. The company remains committed to contributing to the sustainable development of the national digital ecosystem through the implementation of innovative technologies and strategic initiatives.
