Azerbaijan plans to require the customs value of goods to be declared in the national currency under proposed amendments to the Customs Code.

The change is reflected in a newly proposed Article 220.3 of the Customs Code, which was submitted for discussion at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, APA reported.

Under the draft amendment, the customs value of goods will be declared in the national currency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
