Azerbaijan and Slovakia to cooperate in standardisation and metrology

Azerbaijan and Slovakia have agreed to expand cooperation in standardisation, metrology, accreditation and conformity assessment.

The agreement was formalised through a memorandum of understanding signed during the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum in Baku between Azerbaijan’s State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Economy Ministry and Slovakia’s Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMS SR). 

The memorandum was signed by State Service head Mammad Abbasbeyli and UNMS SR Chairman Pavol Pavlis.

The agreement provides for joint projects, the exchange of expertise and closer cooperation in the field of quality infrastructure.
