Azerbaijan Airlines launches flights to Turkey’s Kars
Azerbaijan Airlines operated its first flight to the Turkish city of Kars on July 30, the carrier said.
Flights on the new route will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
The airline said the service would expand air links between Azerbaijan and Turkey and support tourism, business and cultural ties.
Azerbaijan Airlines now operates scheduled flights to 10 Turkish cities, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Kars. Turkey remains the carrier’s largest international market.
