Azerbaijan to provide financial assistance to Palestinian embassy

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved a protocol on providing financial assistance to the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Baku.

The document was signed between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Palestine.

Under the decree, Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers will take the necessary measures to implement the provisions of the protocol.

The Foreign Ministry was instructed to notify the Palestinian government once Azerbaijan completes the domestic procedures required for the protocol to enter into force.

The decree did not disclose the amount or terms of the financial assistance.
