Azerbaijan refunds over 122 million manats in VAT to consumers in Jan–Jul

Authorized banks in Azerbaijan refunded 122.08 million manats ($71.8 million) in Value Added Tax (VAT) to consumers during the first seven months of 2026 under the national "ƏDV geri al" portal.

According to the State Tax Service, the refunds cover purchases across retail trade, catering, medical services, cultural events, and hotel stays in liberated territories. 

Additionally, foreign citizens received 5.25 million manats in VAT refunds under the Tax Free scheme for personal consumption purchases made within the republic during the reporting period.
