Azerbaijan’s agricultural output surpasses 10 billion manats in Jan–Aug 2026

Azerbaijan produced agricultural goods valued at 10.0574 billion manats ($5.92 billion) between January and August 2026, marking a 2.6% increase year-on-year, according to the State Statistical Committee.

Crop production advanced by 3.1%, while livestock output expanded by 2.0% during the eight-month period, with each sector accounting for an equal 50% share of aggregate gross agricultural production.

Output metrics showed 396,100 tons of meat in live weight, 1,494,600 tons of milk, 1.6257 billion eggs, 13,900 tons of wool, and 155.8 tons of silkworm cocoons. Year-on-year, meat yields rose 3.2%, milk production inched up 0.1%, and egg production increased 1.2%. Conversely, wool clipping declined by 3.1%, and cocoon production dropped 16.5%.
